After graduating from the University of Florida with a degree in Economics, Tom Buckle started his telecommunications career at General Dynamic’s telephone equipment division selling Key and PBX telephone systems. Realizing the enormous potential in the emerging long distance market, Mr. Buckle joined Sprint as an Account Executive. After a few years at Sprint, he worked for a Satellite Carrier (Argo Communications) selling to other reseller customers.
Joining MCI in 1988, Mr. Buckle worked in the wholesale carrier group selling large complex contracts to reseller telephone companies. He then moved into MCI’s Corporate Marketing Department managing its Partner/Affinity Marketing programs. Subsequently, he worked in MCI’s Rye Brook, NY branch office selling to national and global accounts where he closed out his 14-year career at MCI as a sales branch manager.
Mr. Buckle founded Mygrotel in 2002 on the simple premise that successful management of telecom and IT expenses through outsourcing to a third party, whose only focus is the management of such services, will more than pay for itself in time and cost savings.
In 2016, together with Henry Garcia, DP Access was formed as a Solution Provider Company serving business customers. Today, DP Access provides hundreds of technology services billing on a single billing platform.
